올해로 77세가 된 로봇 음식점 사업가 최요나 씨가 단문점(SSS : Short Stories Shop)의 간판을 올려다보고 있네요. 무슨 일일까요?
누군가 단문점 안에서 나옵니다. 아, 마법사 섭계영 씨네요!
"어라? 네가 우리 가게까지 무슨 일이야?"
참고로 마법사 섭계영 씨와 최요나 씨는 중학생시절부터 친구사이입니다.
"네 가게 간판 말이야."
"응?"
섭계영 씨가 친구의 말에 자신의 가게 간판을 올려다보았지요. 두 마리의 물고기가 싱글벙글 웃으며 꼬리를 흔들고 있습니다.
"이런 최첨단 시대에 마법으로 만든 간판이라니 너무 올드하달지 너무 신비하달까 그런 기분이 볼때마다 든다니까."
"아하하하하하! 로봇 전문가가 그런 이야기를 하니까 정말 그럴듯한데!"
"뭐, 점심이나 같이 할까하고 찾아왔어. 갈까?"
"오, 좋지! 볶음밥 먹으러 가자."
"너는 정말이지 볶음밥 매니아구만."
섭계영 씨는 가게문을 닫고 친구와 함께 점심을 먹으러 즐겁게 발걸음을 내딛습니다. 가게문에는 {밥 먹고 돌아옵니다!}란 글씨가 떠올라있네요. 간판의 두 마리 물고기가 두 사람의 뒷모습을 바라보며 싱글벙글입니다. 오늘도 단문점은 이야기가 필요한 누구든 반갑게 맞아준답니다.
