신라에서 온 용간지 양모담요
2024년은 용의 해, 갑진년입니다. 갑진년은 푸른 용의 해로 동방의 봄을 상징합니다.
용은 고대로부터 길상과 위엄, 수호, 벽사의 상징으로 사용되어 왔습니다. 특히 신라의 문무왕은 죽어서 용이 되어 나라를 지키겠다고 서원하는 등 우리 역사 속에 용은 매우 친숙한 존재입니다.
이 용이 포함된 12지는 오래전부터 무기를 든 신장(神將)의 모습으로 묘사되어 해당하는 띠에 든 이들을 수호하는 존재, 혹은 각 시간과 방향을 지키는 수호신으로 여겼습니다. 특히 통일신라시대에 들어서는 12지신상을 묘의 둘레돌로 배치하는 것이 유행했습니다. 이 중 가장 유명한 예는 김유신 장군묘의 12지신상입니다.
김유신 장군묘의 12지신상은 평복을 입고 무기를 들고 있는 모습으로 조각의 깊이는 얕지만 대단히 세련된 솜씨로 보여주고 있는 것으로 평가받고 있습니다. 그로 인해 오래전부터 탁본되어 12지신상의 대표적인 예시로 사용되어 왔습니다. 하지만 현대에 들어서는 유물의 보존을 위해 탁본이 엄격하게 제한된 상태입니다. 그러다보니 탁본 원본보다 탁본을 한지에 인쇄하여 탁본의 느낌만 살린 인쇄본이 주로 거래되고 있습니다.
우연찮게 90년대 초반에 탁본이 된 김유신 장군묘 12지신상 탁본원본을 구하게 됐습니다. 워낙 오래전에 얇은 종이에 탁본을 뜬것이라 이미 종이에 손상이 있었기에 디지털자료로 남기기 위해 지인의 스튜디오에서 촬영을 하던 중 이런 아이디어가 나왔습니다.
“이거 12지 다 있으니까, 띠별 옷이나 담요하면 재밌지 않을까?”
그래서 만들어 봤습니다. 2024 용띠 해에 맞춰 만든 <신라에서 온 용간지 양모담요>
담요는 최대한 실제 탁본의 크기와 1:1로 맞추기 위해 최고화질로 작업했습니다.

Product Basic Info
It can be used as a substitute for blankets because it is big enough.
MAde of 100% microfiber, it is light-weight, excellent at absorbing moisture, cozy, and soft to touch.

Notice
- Depending on the lighting conditions at the shooting location, the product's color may appear distorted.
- White photos cannot be printed due to the nature of printing.
- Please be aware that the product can only have one side printed and that the back is not.
- When brushing a hand over one direction of the product, the dye may not fully penetrate, resulting in the white surface of the fabric being visible.
This is a characteristic of the fabric with long fibers and is not considered a defect. - Due to the replacement of Home & Décor products, the color of the new products may differ slightly from the old ones. Please remember to consider product production.
Washing Method
- For extended use, dry cleaning is advised.
- Use a neutral detergent and warm water (below 30'C) for washing items, and be sure to rinse everything well.
- When using a washing machine, wash each item separately on a wool course.
- After washing, dry it in the shade. Avoid using a dryer because it could cause the product to deform.

- A purchase order made by a minor may be cancelled by the same minor or his/her guardian if his/her guardian has not consented to such purchase.

All the goods are newly manufactured in custom order and delivered.
If you order now, the manufacturing process begins on 5/21, and the goods are to be shipped out before 5/28.
