사막의 가장자리, 한 단어가 하늘에 걸린다—GAS. 붉은 네온이 녹슨 기둥을 타고 오르고, 저녁 구름은 철분 섞인 빛을 머금어 음영의 층을 만든다.
납작한 지붕과 두 개의 빈티지 펌프, 그리고 잠시 엔진을 식힌 머슬카가 화면의 무게중심을 이룬다.
수평선은 낮게 깔리고, 간판의 수직과 차양의 수평이 십자로 맞물리며, 광막한 여백은 ‘아무 일도 일어나지 않는 장소’를 정물처럼 고정한다.
질료는 건조한 붓결과 미세한 번짐으로 직조된다. 모래바람이 지나간 듯한 표면, 금속 위에 눌어붙은 적갈색, 차체에 남은 미세한 스크래치가 시간의 단위들을 기록한다.
네온의 균일한 주황과 황혼의 푸른 잔광이 보색으로 맞부딪혀, 한기와 열기가 동시에 스며드는 온도를 만든다. 멀리 메사의 실루엣은 빠르게 식어 가는 대지의 체온계를 닮았다.
이 장면은 연료의 서사가 아니라 ‘정지’의 미학이다. 길 위의 전설은 질주로 쓰이지만, 기억은 언제나 멈춰 선 순간에서 생긴다. 간판의 세 글자는 문장이라기보다 신호—달릴 것인가, 머물 것인가. 자동차가 상징하던 자유는 잠시 휴식으로 번역되고, 네온은 사라져 가는 아날로그의 심장박동처럼 어둠 속에서 느릿하게 뛴다. 결국 작품은 묻는다. 우리를 앞으로 밀어 온 힘은 무엇이었나, 그리고 다시 출발하기 전에 무엇으로 자신을 채울 것인가.

Lightweight and sturdy, it uses assembly-type fixtures for easy setup.
The frame is made from premium pine wood for excellent durability.

- As this is not a waterproof product, wiping with a wet tissue may cause ink to smudge. Please use a dry cloth to dust off.
- If you want front-facing prints, please fill the image up to the dotted lines. Unfilled areas will be produced in plain state.
- Due to printing characteristics, white images will not be printed.
- The actual color may vary from the model cut depending on the shooting environment.
- Due to the material and processing characteristics, there may be an error of about 1-2mm in the actual ordered size.
- To prevent damage to the frame, it will be delivered directly from the manufacturer.
- If you have purchased other items along with the frame, they will be delivered separately.

- A purchase order made by a minor may be cancelled by the same minor or his/her guardian if his/her guardian has not consented to such purchase.

All the goods are newly manufactured in custom order and delivered.
If you order now, the manufacturing process begins on 9/17, and the goods are to be shipped out before 9/24.

All products delivered by MarppleShop are custom-made based on your order, so exchange/refund due to simple change of mind are not possible.
