2024년 8월 10일 별내선 3차 개통 구간과 함께 도입된 전동차로 남양주시에서 발주하였다.
총 9편성 54량이 제작되며, 남양주시에서 소유하지만 서울교통공사가 수탁 관리하며 도시바제 PMSM이 들어가게 된다.
동일 사양인 서울교통공사 5호선 5000호대 4차분, 서울교통공사 7호선 7000호대 5차분과는 조금 다르게 전면부에 8호선 노선색 띠가 둘러져 있고
TC칸 측면 도색라인이 운전실 문까지 이어지며 손잡이가 수평 방향이 아니라 수직 방향으로 설치되었고 출입문 창틀 모양이 과거처럼 비슷한 형태로 적용되었다.

It is a transparent acrylic key ring. By selecting from a variety of acrylic rings, you can create your own key ring.

Notice
- Your selection will be shipped after being individually packaged. (Excluding the ball chain)
- Remove the film protector from the print's reverse side.
- Please be aware that color clumps may happen for images with low color contrast or that are dark.
- When used, external shocks may cause the printing to peel off.
- The print grain may be evident during the drying process after printing due to the properties of the material.
- The scent of the acrylic may be caused by the production process, but it will go away within a half-day.

- A purchase order made by a minor may be cancelled by the same minor or his/her guardian if his/her guardian has not consented to such purchase.

All the goods are newly manufactured in custom order and delivered.
If you order now, the manufacturing process begins on 5/28, and the goods are to be shipped out before 6/4.
