어린 시절, 불안했던 나는 달콤한 것을 떠올리곤 했습니다.
누구나 한 번쯤 보았을, 입에 넣어본 적 있는 그 곰돌이 젤리처럼.

이번 작업은,
달콤함 속에 숨은 어린 날의 불안을 녹여 표현한 작품이에요.
곰돌이는 천천히 녹고 있고,별들까지도 사르르 녹아내립니다.

어린 날의 나, 어린 날의 우리.
녹아버리는 감정과 기억들 속에서도 조금은 달콤했기를,
그리고 어른이 된 우리는 또 다른 달콤함을 만들 수 있기를 바라며.

작가의 말 : 달콤한 기억이 많은 아이일수록 그 달콤함이 녹아도
다시 꺼낼 수 있는 무언가가 있기를 바래요.

When I was a child filled with anxiety,
I often thought of sweet things—
like those gummy bear candies we’ve all seen or tasted at least once.

This piece expresses the hidden anxiety of my childhood,
softly melting into sweetness.
The little bear is slowly melting,
and even the stars are quietly dissolving beside it.

The child I was, the child we all once were—
Even as our emotions and memories melt away,
I hope there were moments of sweetness.
And as adults,
I hope we can still create new sweetness in our lives.

Artist’s Note:
The more sweet memories a child has,
the more likely they are to have something soft and comforting left,
even when the sweetness melts away.

不安でいっぱいだった子どもの頃、
私はよく甘いものを思い浮かべていました。
誰もが一度は見たり食べたりしたことのある、
あのクマのグミのように。

この作品は、
甘さの中に隠れた幼い頃の不安を
とろけるように表現しています。
クマはゆっくりと溶けていき、
星たちもそっと流れ出します。

あの頃の私、あの頃の私たち。
感情も記憶も溶けてしまっても、
少しでも甘い瞬間があったことを願って。
そして大人になった私たちが、
また新しい甘さを作り出せることを信じて。
